Correction. The sequel and the show was produced by Dreamworks animation "television". Megamind and the Doom Syndicate isn't really meant to be a theatrical release - at least that's what I think it is - and the quote on quote television studio is ironically known for the supplements of Dreamworks animation films. You know, the kid shows??

They only beat spider man because miles morales is black and if you have a black character the movie instantly dies in the Asian market and the black character is censored heavily on posters. Also I am surprised that cloud people weren’t censored because the creator is Korean. Oh wait they were because they are in the sky and barely in the movie. Also why is wade voiced by a black guy when he represents white people?

Is it me or do Velvet and Veneer look like Betty Spaghetty or lalaloopsie dolls. It's close but I feel like I'm missing the reference. This movie was good for the single reason that it knew what it was and it played to that strength. It knows it's fluffy bat shit crazy antics and it nods and winks at the camera proudly. I find that this is an issue with some big budget moves these days, especially animated ones - they are too busy preaching the message, or getting distracted while shuffling in IDPOL, or getting slaughtered by corporate into a steaming pile of crap to give a shit that the story is good or you care about the characters. This movie feels like one team rowing together, and it's oddly refreshing.

This movie gave me a migraine and i hated the ending. Would not watch again.

The racism metaphor felt so clunky to me because in a way, it's understandable why the other elements are afraid of fire. Fire can literally kill them and has an unfair advantage in that area compared to other elements. They have a reason to be afraid. It cannot be compared to real life prejudice, because prejudice is literally judging someone without a reason to back it up. Fire and water are meant to cancel each other out, different human races aren't. It's in our nature to live together, but the film takes it that if left unchecked we would be hurting each other... which is a very weird point to make O_O

Sing is very good. Sing 2 on the other hand, is my LEAST favourite illumination.

Lightyear being the movie that Andy saw feels like it was only the foot in the door or initial concept that the movie production grew out of real quick. They kept the hook even tho they had already thrown away. As for star command apparently the brass at Pixar, even after Lasseter left, do not like nor regard the show at all. The director immediately dismissed star command as having any influence whatever
